Animated film : How to feed the world ?

The exhibition "Good appetite" presents a genuine treasure of animation, design and pedagogy. It is held until January 2nd 2011 in the Musuem of Science and Industry of Paris.

The animated film «How to feed the world «explains, in nine minutes, why a part of the world population suffers from malnutrition. With an impeccable pedagogy, the director Denis van Waerebeke defuses and deciphers the absurd mechanisms - but so logical - which led us to such a situation. The movie brings to light the North - South differences by underlining how southern countries depend on importations. While analyzing the perverse effects of the food aid, it demonstrates to which extent the behavior of northern consumers can weight on the South. It raises some lines of thought and it gives some foods for your minds in order to improve the situation.
